Two Months Post-Wedding & Two FAQs

I guess it's no surprise that the most frequent questions I've been asked over these past two months have been "How's married life?" and "How's it's like living at your new place?"

  

"How's married life?"

It's been over two months since we got married and I can honestly say that it's been a real joy.  Of course, it's not always sunshine and rainbows, but it really feels great to be married.  While we were dating, the most we would see each other were a few days each week.  The biggest difference would definitely be seeing J as often as I do now.  We really enjoy spending time together - so much that it has even taken a toll on our sleep schedule (we're working on that!).

"How's it like living at your new place?"

I like to call it our "new old house" because it's new to us but it's also 12 years old.  After a month of renovations and many more months of building and installing furniture and decorations, we can finally say that it feels like home.  We live in the upper level of a stacked townhouse (meaning there are basement and upper level units in our complex).  Our place isn't big, but it's cozy and we love living here.   The home decor items I've accumulated over the past few years have slowly been making an appearance (and I'm all very excited about this!).  God has truly blessed us with so much and we are stoked to be living here!

So here's to the (re)start of a blog I had previously abandoned.  Follow along for our adventures, house updates and ramblings mostly about the aforementioned FAQs.
